
INDIANA — A targeted enforcement operation conducted by Indiana State Police on Friday night resulted in dozens of arrests and citations across South Bend.
According to state police, the Wolfpack Patrol ran from 8 p.m. Friday until 3 a.m. Saturday and focused on impaired driving and criminal activity throughout the area.
During the operation, troopers issued 75 citations and made a total of 75 arrests, including 59 misdemeanor arrests and 16 felony arrests. Police said the enforcement effort also led to nine operating while intoxicated (OWI) arrests and 26 drug-related arrests.
Investigators additionally identified a human trafficking victim during a prostitution solicitation operation conducted as part of the patrol.
Indiana State Police said the high-visibility enforcement effort is part of an ongoing initiative aimed at reducing crime and improving public safety. Officials noted that additional Wolfpack Patrols are planned in the future.
