IOWA — One person died in a crash early Monday on Interstate 29 in Council Bluffs, according to the Council Bluffs Police Department.
Police said officers responded to the scene just before 1 a.m. near the interchange of Interstate 29 and Interstate 80.
The driver involved in the crash was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Council Bluffs Police Department.
