ILLINOIS — An Illinois Lottery player is holding a winning Powerball ticket worth $200,000 following Saturday night’s drawing, according to lottery results. The winning numbers drawn June 13 were 3, 13, 44, 50, 53, with Powerball number 2 and a Power Play multiplier of 4x.
The winning Illinois ticket matched enough numbers to claim the $200,000 prize. Details about where the ticket was sold have not yet been released.
Saturday’s drawing featured an estimated jackpot of $257 million, with a cash value of approximately $115 million. No jackpot winner was reported, allowing the grand prize to continue growing for the next drawing.
Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Players can win prizes by matching various combinations of the five white balls and the red Powerball.
Illinois lottery players are encouraged to check their tickets carefully, as the state’s latest Powerball winner could be unaware they are holding a prize worth $200,000.
