
GEORGIA — An ongoing drug investigation in Grady County has resulted in the seizure of illegal narcotics and the arrest of one person, according to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said deputies executed a search warrant at a residence as part of the investigation. During the operation, investigators discovered illegal narcotics that were allegedly packaged for distribution.
The sheriff’s office said deputies also recovered cash believed to be connected to the suspected drug activity.
One person was taken into custody during the operation. Officials have not yet released the individual’s identity or announced any charges.
The Grady County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation remains active and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
No further details were immediately available Friday. Authorities continue to investigate the case.
