OHIO — A child was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Thursday morning in Colerain Township, according to police.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Banning Road and Colerain Avenue. Colerain Township police confirmed the child was transported to a hospital in serious condition.
Authorities have not released the child’s age and are still working to determine whether the child was riding a scooter or was on foot at the time of the collision.
Police said the driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been released. The incident remains under investigation.
