GEORGIA — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl who was last seen in Columbus.
According to the Columbus Police Department, Ashley Jakiewicz was reported missing after she was last seen on June 9 in the 800 block of Stafford Court.
Police said Jakiewicz was wearing a black shirt with the word “Gemini” on it, black-and-white pajama pants, and black Crocs at the time she was last seen.
Authorities described Jakiewicz as having blonde hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds.
Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call 911, the Columbus Police Department Special Victims Unit at 706-225-3449, or Corporal Bethani Thompson at 706-225-4351.
The investigation remains ongoing.
