NORTH CAROLINA — One person was hospitalized after an aggravated assault in Greensboro early Wednesday morning, according to police.
The Greensboro Police Department said officers responded around 5:15 a.m. to a wooded area near Interstate 40 West and Exit 213 at Guilford College Road.
When officers arrived, they located an assault victim at the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released information about the victim’s condition or any potential suspects.
The Greensboro Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
