
TENNESSEE — One person was injured in a shooting at a Nashville-area barbershop late Monday night, and police have detained one individual as the investigation continues.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, officers responded to TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center around 10:30 p.m. Monday after hospital staff reported that a person had arrived with a gunshot wound.
Investigators determined the shooting occurred at 300 Barbershop, located in a strip mall off Nolensville Pike near the Davidson County and Williamson County line.
Police said the victim went to the hospital after being shot. The individual’s injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.
Officers later responded to the barbershop as part of the investigation. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and identify any additional suspects who may have been involved.
Authorities said one person has been detained while the investigation remains active. No charges have been announced, and police have not released further details about what led to the shooting.
