VIRGINIA — One person was killed in a crash involving a moped and another vehicle Monday night in Hampton, according to the Hampton Police Department.
Police said the crash occurred at the intersection of Big Bethel Road and Lassiter Drive.
Authorities confirmed the collision involved a moped and a second vehicle. The moped operator died as a result of the crash.
Officials have not released the identity of the victim, and additional information about the circumstances leading up to the crash was not immediately available.
The Hampton Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
