
FLORIDA — A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning in Alachua, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. near the intersection of Northwest County Road 235 and Northwest 157th Street.
According to investigators, a 34-year-old woman was driving a sedan through the intersection when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash. No additional information was immediately released.
