
NORTH CAROLINA — Three people are facing multiple charges after deputies recovered stolen property and illegal drugs while investigating a break-in in Buncombe County, according to the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives arrested Michael Turner, Latasha Wilson and William Foreman on May 28 at a home on Twin Pine Trail in Candler. The arrests stem from a residential break-in reported May 24 in the Bent Creek area.
Authorities said investigators executed a search warrant at the residence and recovered more than 80% of the property reported stolen in the break-in. Deputies also discovered marijuana, methamphetamine and psilocybin mushrooms during the search.
Turner was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and multiple drug paraphernalia offenses.
Wilson and Foreman each face charges including breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, possession of Schedule I and Schedule II controlled substances, felony possession of Schedule VI controlled substances, possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for the storage and sale of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The investigation remains ongoing.
