LOUISIANA — One person was hospitalized following an early Monday morning stabbing at an apartment complex on Picardy Avenue.
According to officials, the incident happened at The Heights at Picardy apartment complex. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene around 1:50 a.m.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office and East Baton Rouge EMS responded to the reported stabbing. Authorities said one person suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Officials said the victim was listed in stable condition following the incident.
No additional details about the circumstances surrounding the stabbing or any potential suspects were immediately released.
