TENNESSEE — A man was arrested Friday after agents seized methamphetamine, marijuana, cash and a concealed storage container during a drug investigation in Dyer County, according to the West Tennessee Drug Task Force.

Agents with the 29th Judicial District Drug Task Force executed a search warrant Friday evening at a residence in the 6000 block of Highway 104 West near Dyersburg.

During the search, investigators recovered approximately 96 grams of methamphetamine, about one ounce of marijuana and $3,471 in suspected drug proceeds.

Authorities also seized what they described as a “stash can” disguised as a can of corn that was allegedly being used to conceal narcotics.

One man was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Dyer County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation. The case will be prosecuted by the office of District Attorney General Danny Goodman Jr.

All charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
