SOUTH CAROLINA — The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating an 18-year-old woman who was reported missing by her family.
According to the sheriff’s office, Novella Hyman of Murrells Inlet was last seen leaving her residence on Derrick Lane on foot at approximately 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities said Hyman is 4 feet 11 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black leggings and a black T-shirt.
Investigators said Hyman’s family has been unable to contact her and believes she may be endangered.
Anyone with information about Hyman’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at 843-546-5102.
The search for Hyman remains ongoing.
