
VIRGINIA — A man was found dead with a stab wound inside a Richmond home Friday morning, according to the Richmond Police Department.
Officers were called to the 4000 block of North Avenue at approximately 6:13 a.m. on June 5 after receiving a report of a person who had been stabbed.
When officers arrived, they found a man inside the residence suffering from an apparent stab wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not released the victim’s identity or any information about a possible suspect.
The Richmond Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating the death.
