OHIO — Three people are in critical condition after a crash in Columbiana County early Wednesday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers were called to the intersection of OH-45 and Teegarden Road in Salem Township at approximately 1 a.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and troopers are continuing to work to determine what led to the incident.
According to OSHP, two people were flown by medical helicopter and one person was transported by ambulance to Mercy Health Hospital in Youngstown for treatment.
The Leetonia and Winona fire departments assisted at the scene.
No additional information about the individuals involved or the circumstances surrounding the crash has been released.
