
KENTUCKY — At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport on Tuesday afternoon, according to Louisville Metro Police.
The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. in the 5000 block of Crittenden Drive, adjacent to the airport.
Police said one of the vehicles involved struck a utility pole, rolled over and brought down power lines. Authorities confirmed that at least one person died as a result of the crash.
Officials have not released information on how many other people were involved or whether additional injuries were reported.
Louisville Fire and Louisville Gas and Electric crews responded to the scene alongside police.
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation. No identities have been released.
