MISSISSIPPI — A 21-year-old Hickory Flat man died following a weekend crash in Benton County, according to the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
MHP Sgt. Daniel Tucker identified the victim as Logan King, 21, of Hickory Flat.
The crash occurred early Sunday morning on Highway 2. Authorities said King’s car collided with an SUV.
King was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Additional details about the crash, including the condition of the SUV driver and what may have led to the collision, were not immediately available.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol has not released any further information.
