
TENNESSEE — A 28-year-old woman died after a single-vehicle crash on Andersonville Highway in Andersonville, according to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred May 22 in the 4000 block of Andersonville Highway.
Investigators said Maya Louise Leon was driving westbound when her SUV left the roadway, traveled through a metal fence and overturned at least once before coming to rest in the front yard of a residence.
According to the report, Leon was ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Troopers said she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck.
No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
