FLORIDA — One person was detained after a man was shot Monday night in the Gladeview area of Miami-Dade County, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded at approximately 10:45 p.m. to the area of Northwest 32nd Avenue and Northwest 79th Street following reports of a shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
Authorities said another man was detained at the scene pending the ongoing investigation.
No additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or the identities of those involved have been released.
