INDIANA — Police are investigating after a man was found fatally shot inside a parked SUV behind a Marion strip club early Monday morning.
According to authorities, dispatchers received a report of a shooting shortly before 2:30 a.m. when a 911 caller reported that someone had been shot behind Rebel Dolls Cabaret, located just east of State Road 9/Baldwin Avenue.
First responders arrived at the scene and discovered 20-year-old Cristobal Lester dead inside an SUV parked behind the business. Police said Lester had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
The club was closed at the time of the shooting.
Investigators have not announced any suspects or released information regarding a possible motive. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
