
MISSOURI — More than 11,800 homes and businesses across Missouri are without electricity Monday morning, according to data from PowerOutage.us.
As of the latest update, 11,845 customers statewide are experiencing power outages, affecting approximately 0.41% of the nearly 2.9 million customers tracked across Missouri.
Clay County is reporting the highest number of outages in the state with 4,026 customers without power. St. Louis City follows with 2,395 outages, while Jackson County has 914 customers without electricity. Additional outages are reported in St. Louis County with 690 customers affected and Osage County with 563 outages.
Among utility providers, Evergy is reporting the largest number of customers without service, with 5,028 outages. Ameren has 3,861 customers without power, while Black River Electric Cooperative reports 926 outages and Three Rivers Electric Cooperative reports 903.
Howard Electric Cooperative is reporting the highest percentage of customers affected, with 8.59% of its customers currently without electricity.
PowerOutage.us reports Missouri currently has the second-highest number of power outages in the nation and ranks third nationwide for the percentage of customers affected.
Utility crews are continuing restoration efforts across the state as outage numbers fluctuate throughout the morning.
