
OHIO — A motorcyclist died after a single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Hartville, according to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched shortly before 9 p.m. to Kent Avenue, also known as state Route 43, between Andrews Street Northeast and Manning Road for reports of a motorcycle crash.
Investigators said the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Kent Avenue when the rider lost control while negotiating a curve and left the roadway.
The motorcyclist was transported to an Akron-area hospital, where the rider was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the crash with assistance from the Canton Metro Crash Team.
No additional details were immediately available.
