
NEW JERSEY — Two Powerball tickets sold in New Jersey matched four white balls and the Powerball to win $50,000 prizes in Saturday night’s drawing.
The winning numbers for the May 30 Powerball drawing were 1, 27, 35, 44 and 52, with the Powerball number 12. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
Lottery officials have not yet announced where in New Jersey the two winning tickets were purchased.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot was estimated at $170 million, with a cash value of $75.9 million at the time of the drawing.
Powerball drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, offering players the chance to win prizes ranging from a few dollars to the multi-million-dollar jackpot. Tickets that match four white balls and the Powerball win a base prize of $50,000.
