
KENTUCKY — An Indiana man was killed and two juveniles were seriously injured in a head-on crash Friday afternoon in Meade County, according to Kentucky State Police.
Troopers were called shortly before 3:30 p.m. Friday to Bypass Road near High Street in Meade County for reports of a two-vehicle collision.
According to a preliminary investigation, 34-year-old Dustin Farmer of Indiana was traveling northbound on Bypass Road when his vehicle crossed into the center turn lane and collided head-on with a pickup truck driven by 25-year-old Maia Fisher of Missouri.
The Meade County Coroner’s Office pronounced Farmer dead at the scene.
Fisher suffered serious injuries and was transported to UofL Hospital for treatment. Two juvenile passengers riding in Fisher’s vehicle also sustained serious injuries and were taken to UofL Children’s Hospital.
Kentucky State Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash. No additional information has been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
