KENTUCKY — One person was killed and two juveniles were seriously injured in a head-on crash Friday night in Pendleton County, according to Kentucky State Police.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. near the 2700 block of U.S. 27 in Falmouth.
Investigators said a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox was traveling north on U.S. 27 when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2018 Ram truck.
The driver of the Equinox, identified as 67-year-old Sandra Barker of Falmouth, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two juvenile passengers in the Ram truck were transported to local hospitals with serious injuries, according to state police.
No additional information about the juveniles or the driver of the Ram truck was immediately released.
Kentucky State Police Post 6 is continuing to investigate the crash.
