
WISCONSIN — Thousands of utility customers across Wisconsin are currently without electricity Saturday morning, according to the latest data from PowerOutage.us.
As of the most recent update, 3,606 customers are without power statewide out of more than 2.92 million tracked customers. The outages currently affect approximately 0.12% of customers monitored across Wisconsin.
La Crosse County reports the highest number of outages in the state, with 2,265 customers without electricity. Waukesha County follows with 543 outages, while Jefferson County reports 509 customers without power. Vilas County has 81 outages, and Kenosha County reports 59.
Among utility providers, Xcel Energy currently has the largest number of affected customers, reporting 2,324 outages. We Energies reports 1,173 customers without service, while Wisconsin Public Service has 83 outages. Alliant Energy reports 15 affected customers, and Wisconsin Rapids Water, Works and Lighting Commission reports four outages.
According to PowerOutage.us, Wisconsin currently ranks ninth in the nation for the total number of customers without power and 11th nationwide for the percentage of customers affected.
La Crosse County is currently the hardest-hit county in Wisconsin, with 3.6% of tracked customers without electricity. Utility crews continue working to restore service as active outages remain across portions of the state Saturday morning.
