LOUISIANA — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating an 80-year-old Shreveport man with dementia who was reported missing after leaving his home on foot.
According to the Shreveport Police Department, William Pederson was last seen around 8 p.m. in the 5700 block of Roma Drive.
Investigators said Pederson left the area on foot and has not been located.
Pederson is described as having blue eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a yellow heavy-rain jacket and green shorts.
Authorities said Pederson has been diagnosed with dementia, raising concerns for his health and safety.
Police are urging anyone who sees Pederson or has information about his whereabouts to contact the Shreveport Police Department immediately at 318-673-7300.
The search for Pederson remains ongoing.
