ALABAMA — One person was injured in a shooting Friday evening in Huntsville, according to police.
Huntsville Police said officers were called to the area of Timberlane Avenue around 6:45 p.m. after receiving reports of a possible shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a victim suffering from injuries related to the incident. The victim was transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment of what authorities described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said they have identified a possible suspect in the case. Police added that there is currently no threat to the public.
No arrests have been announced, and additional details about the circumstances leading up to the shooting have not been released.
