SOUTH CAROLINA — A SWAT team responded Thursday evening to assist deputies during an active barricaded suspect situation near Fountain Inn.
According to Greenville County dispatch, deputies were attempting to serve a warrant on a suspect on Brisbane Drive when the individual barricaded themselves inside a residence. Deputies were dispatched to the scene at approximately 3:44 p.m.
The situation remained ongoing Thursday night, with SWAT personnel arriving at the scene around 7:45 p.m. to assist with the response.
Authorities have not released details about the warrant being served or identified the suspect involved.
No injuries had been reported as of Thursday evening. The investigation remains active.
