OHIO — A man was arrested Thursday in connection with alleged cocaine trafficking and possession in Middletown, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force, known as BURN, and the Middletown Police Department executed a search warrant around 8:30 a.m. in the 3700 block of Greenview Drive.
During the search, officials said investigators found approximately 20 grams of suspected cocaine and about $2,260 in cash. The suspected cocaine field-tested positive, according to authorities.
The sheriff’s office identified the suspect as 56-year-old Andre Snow. He was booked into the Middletown City Jail.
Snow is facing charges of trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine, both third-degree felonies. Authorities said additional charges are pending.
Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones said drug dealers “poison our communities and destroy lives” and warned those involved in drug trafficking they would face consequences in Butler County.
The investigation remains ongoing.
