INDIANA — Interstate 465 northbound on the west side of Indianapolis is currently closed following a multi-vehicle injury crash Wednesday morning, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation and Indiana State Police.
Officials said the crash was reported around 9:18 a.m. near the 13-mile marker on I-465 northbound, close to Rockville Road and West 10th Street.
Indiana State Police said at least three vehicles were involved in the crash. Authorities described the reported injuries as minor.
Multiple emergency crews responded to the scene, and several lanes were shut down as first responders worked the crash.
Officials have not said when the interstate will reopen.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes due to heavy traffic delays.
The crash remains under investigation.
