MINNESOTA — Eastbound Interstate 94 in Monticello remains closed Wednesday morning after a semi crashed into the median, according to Minnesota 511.
The closure affects eastbound I-94 between exits 193 and 194. Minnesota 511 reported that only emergency vehicles are being allowed through the area while crews work at the scene.
Officials said the eastbound lanes are expected to remain closed until around 11 a.m.
Westbound I-94 in the area is also reduced to one lane between Exit 201 and Exit 194 because of ongoing construction projects.
No injuries were immediately reported, and additional details about the crash have not been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
