VIRGINIA — A man was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle in Chesterfield County, according to Chesterfield Police.
Police said the crash happened near Hull Street Road and Astor Road.
Investigators said a 2023 white Ford F-250 was traveling east on Hull Street Road when it hit a man.
Emergency crews attempted life-saving measures, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said the driver remained at the scene following the crash.
Eastbound Hull Street Road remains closed between Astor Road and Fordham Road while police continue to investigate.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
