TENNESSEE — All westbound lanes of Interstate 24 in Clarksville remain closed Tuesday evening following a multi-vehicle crash near Exit 11, according to the Clarksville Police Department.
Police said the crash involves three to four vehicles on I-24 West just before Exit 11 in Montgomery County.
Emergency crews, including the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Clarksville police, are responding to the scene. Authorities have not confirmed the number or severity of injuries.
Officials said all westbound lanes are currently shut down as first responders continue working the crash scene. No estimated reopening time has been released.
Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes due to significant traffic delays.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
