SOUTH CAROLINA — A North Myrtle Beach man died after he was struck by a vehicle while walking on a roadway over the weekend, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
Daniel Drago, 36, died at a hospital shortly after midnight Sunday from injuries suffered in the crash, Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard said.
Authorities said Drago was walking near 1519 Old Highway 17 North when he was hit by a vehicle.
The North Myrtle Beach Police Department is investigating the crash.
Additional details, including information about the driver or circumstances surrounding the collision, have not been released.
