VIRGINIA — A teen driver died in a crash in Appomattox County late Friday night, according to Virginia State Police.
The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Salem Road.
Police said the teen was driving northbound in a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu when the vehicle ran off the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
The driver died at the scene, authorities said.
The crash remains under investigation.
