
TENNESSEE — More than 2,300 customers across Tennessee are without electricity as of Tuesday morning, according to outage data from PowerOutage.us.
The outage tracking website reported 2,365 homes and businesses without power statewide out of nearly 3.5 million customers being monitored. Tennessee currently ranks 10th in the nation for both the total number of outages and the percentage of customers affected.
Bradley County reported the highest number of outages with 754 customers without power. Dyer County followed with 431 outages, while Campbell County reported 222 customers affected. Other counties with notable outages included Hamilton County with 151 outages and Davidson County with 114.
Among utility providers, Volunteer Energy Cooperative reported the largest number of outages with 834 customers without service. Forked Deer Electric Cooperative reported 431 outages, while Electric Power Board of Chattanooga reported 151 customers without electricity.
PowerOutage.us said Forked Deer Electric Cooperative had the highest percentage of customers affected statewide, with about 4.26% of its customers without power Tuesday morning.
Utility crews continue working to restore electricity across the state.
