One person injured following road rage shooting incident in Kentucky

KENTUCKY — Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating a reported road rage shooting that left one man injured early Tuesday morning in Louisville.

Police said officers were called to UofL Hospital around 5:39 a.m. after an adult man arrived by private vehicle with a gunshot wound.

Investigators said the victim was inside a vehicle involved in a road rage incident when someone in another vehicle fired shots. The shooting was reported near the Interstate 64 West and Interstate 65 South split.

Authorities said the victim suffered injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The department’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is leading the investigation. Police said no suspect or vehicle description was immediately available.
