OHIO — Two Columbus Division of Fire firefighters were among several people hospitalized after a multivehicle crash early Tuesday morning in Columbus.
According to Columbus Battalion Chief Brian Barnhart, the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Joyce and East 5th avenues.
Officials said a medic unit was transporting a patient to Ohio State East Hospital when it collided with another vehicle approaching the intersection.
Two firefighters, the patient and the driver of the other vehicle were all taken to hospitals for treatment. Authorities said all four were listed in stable condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
