Part of I-75 in Georgia shut down following multi-vehicle crash

GEORGIA — A multi-vehicle crash has shut down all lanes near SR 136 at Interstate 75 in Gordon County, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

GDOT reported the crash Monday afternoon and said both eastbound and westbound lanes are currently closed while first responders work at the scene.

Officials said multiple vehicles were involved in the crash. It is unclear if anyone was injured.

Drivers are being urged to avoid the area and use an alternate route until the roadway reopens.

No estimate has been given for when traffic will resume.
