OHIO — One person died following a shooting in the Old Towne East neighborhood east of downtown Columbus early Monday morning.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called to the area of South 22nd and East Fulton streets around 2 a.m.
One person was taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Police have not released additional details about what led up to the shooting, and it was not immediately clear if any arrests had been made.
The investigation remains ongoing.
