KENTUCKY — Indiana State Police are investigating after a body was discovered Monday at Saddle Lake in Perry County, according to authorities.
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office said the deceased individual was found at Saddle Lake in Perry County National Park.
Officials confirmed that Saddle Lake and Saddle Lake Road are currently closed while the investigation continues.
Authorities said there is no believed threat to public safety at this time.
No additional information about the identity of the deceased or the circumstances surrounding the death has been released.
The investigation remains ongoing.
