
ILLINOIS — A child was airlifted to a hospital and two other juveniles were injured after a tree fell on them Saturday night in the Lakewood neighborhood in Illinois.
Crews with Crystal Lake Fire Rescue responded around 9:15 p.m. May 23 to a home on Gleneagle Circle after reports that multiple children had been injured when a tree fell.
Officials said three juveniles were hurt in the incident. Two of the children were treated at the scene by EMS crews and later released.
A third juvenile suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital. Reports said the child was in serious but stable condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
