ILLINOIS — A man was killed in a UTV crash early Monday morning in Adams County, Illinois, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash happened just before 1 a.m. at Highway 24 and West Main Street in Clayton.
When deputies arrived, they found an overturned UTV with a single occupant.
The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said the man was not wearing protective gear at the time of the crash.
No additional information has been released as the investigation continues.
