OHIO — Four people were taken to local hospitals after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 71 northbound near the Greenlawn Avenue ramp in Columbus on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, three vehicles were involved in the crash near the top of the ramp.
Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after the collision was reported to clear the wreckage and assist those involved.
Officials said four people were transported to area hospitals, though the extent of their injuries and their current conditions were not immediately available.
Traffic backups were reported in the area following the crash, but authorities said traffic flow had returned to normal by about 4:40 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
