KENTUCKY — A cyclist died Saturday evening after becoming trapped under a fallen tree at Iroquois Park, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Officers responded shortly after 7 p.m. to assist EMS on a call along Rundill Road near the park’s golf course.
Police said a 911 caller discovered a man pinned beneath a large tree and was unable to remove it. EMS pronounced the cyclist dead at the scene.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating the death.
