
ALABAMA — A single-vehicle crash involving a UPS truck Saturday caused fluids to spill into a creek near Pulaski Pike and Beaver Dam Road, according to Toney Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
The fire department said the crash happened when the UPS truck struck a guardrail. Photos released by the department showed the damaged truck resting along the roadway.
Officials said no injuries were reported.
According to the department, Huntsville Fire & Rescue Hazardous Materials Team responded to the scene and deployed absorbent pillows to contain and collect the spilled fluids from the creek.
Drivers are being urged to use caution in the area until permanent repairs can be completed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
