VIRGINIA — Norfolk police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Saturday morning on Azalea Garden Road.
According to police, officers responded to the 2700 block of Azalea Garden Road around 8:40 a.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Authorities said the investigation remains active and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
