KENTUCKY — Eastbound lanes of the Interstate 24 Bridge are currently blocked following a three-vehicle crash Friday night, according to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the crash happened on the eastbound side of the bridge, though authorities have not released details about injuries or what led to the collision.
Officials said traffic in the area is blocked and impassable, and motorists are being urged to avoid the bridge and seek alternate routes.
Authorities expect the roadway to remain closed for the next several hours as crews work at the scene and investigators continue examining the crash.
